As the COVID-19 crisis continues, we wanted to update you on some decisions regarding the Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery 2020 Annual Meeting. But first, thank you for what you do in the field of dermatology. Whether or not you are on the front lines of this pandemic, you are appreciated for the care you deliver and sacrifices you make daily. In doing our part to slow the spread of the coronavirus, the FSDDS Board of Directors has decided NOT to hold the annual meeting at a later date this year. The decision was not easy, but we felt that in the interest of your health, safety and financial well-being that it was unrealistic and unwise to have a meeting this year. We are working on some ideas to continue to engage you, our members, thru informational emails and possible virtual meetings.
If you have already registered for the meeting, rest easy knowing that your registration will be refunded in full. Thank you for your patience as we process the refunds over the next few days. We will continue to move forward with elections, so please be on the lookout for email communication regarding this.
